To date we have installed energy-efficient LED lighting, introduced rainwater harvesting for watering plants and power hosing, started segregating public mall waste, recently introduced a bug hotel and wild flower gardens in the premises and we are also working towards electric vehicle charging points.
Together let’s work towards a greener world for ourselves, our children and our children’s children.
Harbour Place Shopping Centre will be launching this Thursday October 17th a new Bug Hotel, as part of its proactive approach when it comes to sustainable environmental practices.
Pupils from St Brigid’s School, Mullingar will be launching a bug hotel where they will learn more about nature, attract pollinating insects, preserve wildlife, stimulate biodiversity and learn how to be environmentally friendly.
The event will take place this Thursday 17th from 11.00 am until 1.00 pm, located in wildflower garden in the car park. Join us and enjoy this great initiative.
